Dear Mark

Just to say thank you so much for the brilliant show to gave at Carlotta’s party. The laser beams were so beautiful (so many shapes, colours and rhythms!) which together with the bubble machine made the dancing stage so magical.

Your choice of music was excellent and the dance master was very good at keeping the kids dancing away. But above all, I praise your professionalism for putting everything together so brilliantly, with seamless roll-over talking (is there such a word in English?) from one game to another and leading the whole show, as I said, so brilliantly.

The boys in particular were thrilled with the air guitars which some of them have taken to school for the last 2 days still – and some were taken away by the teacher as they were getting a bit over excited.

Overall, a brilliant party which Carlotta loved so much she is still dancing as the leading dance master. The effect may still last until the end of the week at least!

So keep bringing in new exciting ideas for the boys and girls as my daughter wants to book you again for her next party!

Hi Mark!
I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and Dancemater Troy for a great show yesterday! You were most helpful when you knew of the problem with the hall and generally made it very easy for me to get on with other things and then enjoy the show myself! I hope you weren't too exhausted after your marathon session, I felt like it was midnight by the time we left!
From the feedback I got it seems the children really enjoyed it and also some of the parents it seems! It was also nice to hear from parents of older boys that said it was the first time their son had joined in at a disco! Needless to say it has already been decided that the school would like you back for next years event so you'll probably hear from me again soon!

Had 2 shows 1 after the other. My children had the greatest time and even the shy one went out in front and joined in. Not only did the kids have a great time the adults did too. I have had parents coming up to me saying their children are still raving about the show 2 days later Qoute from 1 kid "but mum you don't understand it was the best disco ever, they had a proper dancer and lazers it was the best". Another child made a thank you card to one of my daughters as she had a great time. Mr Troy the dancemaster is fantastic and does not stop even on the second show & Mark the D.J was great. Cannot recommend this show highly enough. Thank you for making it a very special day.

Following a recommendation on here a couple of months ago for The People's Choice (also known as Dancemasters) I'd like to second that recommendation. They were the entertainment at my daughter's 6th birthday party yesterday and they were fantastic. My daughter also wanted a High School Musical theme (they do other themes too) and they set up life size cut outs of the cast as well as the disco with all the lights and effects. Mark Colwill was the DJ and was my main contact when booking the party. He was so helpful and provided various options for the party. We also had Mr Troy, the dance master, who had all the partygoers dancing their socks off. They had a great time and the prizes went down very well too, including the glo-sticks and glo-bracelets. My daughter's classmates were still talking about it today - especially the bit where they were playing the air guitar!!

It was all carried out very professionally and was completely hassle-free. From setting up to running the show and then packing it all up again it was a very slick and polished operation. I can't recommend them highly enough and I'm most likely going to book them again next year.

I booked DJ Mark for a High School Musical Disco for my 9 year old Gabriella, I made my decision purely from the website and have to say he didn't disappoint! My daughter and her friends had a wonderful time " The best party ever" was mentioned by the children and my 6 year old has asked for the same party please, as have several of my daughters friends! I cannot recommend them enough, the only thing I would say is the two hours goes so quickly and I think we could have carried on for another two! I have already been asked for details and the party was only two days ago.

After the great conversation with People's choice we were very much looking forward to the show (hosted by DJ Nick). But we were amazed just how fantastic they were, beyond what we expected.... they kept the children's attention the whole time, Karly (dancemaster) was amazing with the children. Our daughter wants her to come back and babysit.
Not sure what we are going to do next year now!!!

I choose Dancemasters based on the website and I would urge any other parents reading this to do likewise. I always make a huge effort with my daughter’s birthday parties and booking Dancemasters for her 6th Birthday based on the website was a big risk but I needed have worried, it was the best party yet! The pre-event organisation was excellent and I was confident that Mark and the team would be professional but I was completely blown away by the quality of the party. Even before the first child arrived the venue looked awesome! The kid’s first impressions when they walked in was that this was a serious party! But at the same time Dancemasters had cleverly made the layout completely safe - through intelligent use of the space they made it look incredible whilst also keeping all the technical or hot equipment well out of the children's reach. Having Dancemaster Karley was fantastic, one of the mum's told me that the fee would have been worth it just for Karley! I can't emphasise enough that this is much more than a disco, a purpose was given to every aspect of the party so that even the most difficult kids and ALL the boys got up and danced! The games were fantastic and really well related to the Disco idea. Dancemasters were generous with the prizes which were all excellent quality and coveted by the children, who all walked away with something special. When Karley lifted Charlotte up at the end of the last HSM number at the end of the party I was blubbing! It really was her best ever party and I can't recommend Dancemasters highly enough - there were 34 kids at the party, everyone of them loved it! 3 CRIED when it had to end and all the parents thought it was incredible! My only problem now is how I can top it next year!

Our 5 year old daughter thought it was the best birthday party ever and all her friends and their parents thought it was excellent, even our 10 year loved it and joined in and so did her teenage cousins. The only complaint we had from some children and adults was we should have booked the show for 4 hours not 2hrs!!! Troy was excellent with the children, he had so much energy and they all loved him. The lights, flames and bubble machine and laser effects were excellent better than we expected them to be, We would highly recommend Dancemasters and The people’s choice disco show.Mark and Troy were extremely professional we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, we're just looking for an excuse to have another party!!

It was a brilliant party! Mark kept to the theme but kept the tone very innocent and sweet. The children danced non stop. The games were great, prizes coveted and dance steps challenging without being difficult. It would be hard to improve the show, but if you were hunting for one area to improve, I would say it would knock everyone's socks off if Mr Troy dressed in character (basketball outfit maybe?). Ada is already asking when she turns 7 and can have another disco party!

My Daughter 'Naia' had a wonderful 5th party !! Even though HSM is targeted towards an older age group , Naia and her friends love it. Mums and Dad's if you would like a 'Special Party' with great memories then you've found a fabulous entertainer. Mark made my 'Daughters' day extremely special. I have already made enquires into another party for next year.

On Sunday July 8th. For My daughters 9th Birthday we had 23 children. ( Can you imagine having 23 kids and controlling them.! ) Well .. Mark kept all the children entertained -Even those that were less confident to "join in". He manages to interact with the children that 'sit out' and involve them in the fun. Mark after some years of experience obviously knows what the children like and thrive on to enjoy an great party.

We had lots of different games ** in Fact to many to remember' .! from 'Best dancer' to the 'Lambada' to a 'Freeze game' to a 'Speedy game' to a 'Dice Game' to a guessing game..Ball game.. the list is endless..!!! We also had 'DISCO LIGHTS'.. Lasers.. Bubble machines. flashing lights and a Disco Ball.. ** In Fact*When you see the Party in Action ** You wish you'd booked him for longer than 2 hours..** All the Children 'Won' a prize and were 'Excited' with the prize.. Can't say happier than that..!!

Was very impressed with the Dancemasters Disco. They provided 2 back to back discos for 7 year olds and then 11 year olds. Kept them constantly entertained - I did not have to do a thing! The children all thoroughly enjoyed it. Mark and Mr Troy must have been exhausted but they didn't show it. Fantastic. Would definitely use again and can thoroughly recommend. An extremely high quality service.

5.0 out of 5 2 discos were provided for 30 7 year olds and 30 11 year olds. Both groups had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the discos and the games/quizzes. The children were entertained completely for the whole time. I would highly recommend Dancemasters to anyone - and not just for children's discos.

The DJs, Adam and Troy, were fantastic. They knew exactly what music the kids would like and kept them active with games and dancing for two whole hours. There were lots of team games and prizes which were very popular. The party was a huge success (kids and parents in full agreement) and they were still talking about it on Monday at school. What greater compliment!

I found Mark really professional before the event in confirming exactly what was required, and in making suggestions for the event. The children had an absolute ball and I had loads of parents telling me that it was the best school disco we have put on. The fantastic lights and bubbles - not to mention the wonderful Troy really made it a night to remember. Mark did an amazing job keeping the kids on the dance floor - with fun games and a really well judged musical selection. The parents enjoyed it too, and I would highly recommend Dancemasters.

All based around the HSM theme - the age group ranged from 4 to 10 however all the children were involved, nobody felt left out - it catered for everyone! They all had a fab time and said it was the best party they had ever been too! Certainly would recommend this to any of my friends for their children's parties!

The lights and bubble machine added to the fun. He kept 26 children happy for 2 hours so worth every penny! Perhaps a little too loud but that didn't seem to bother the children. I would have absolutely no problems recommending these guys to anyone. My wife and i had an amazing wedding day, and night, and these guys helped in making that happen!!, great stuff!!
